ITHIKA a four piece high
energy rock experience formed in the summer of 2004 out of the
ashes of a few well known local bands. ITHIKA has had the privilege
of opening for numerous national acts, here's the list, Three
Days Grace, Sum 41, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Seether, Finger
Eleven, Flyleaf, Evans Blue, Sick Puppies, Cold and Trapt. Nick
Shannon lead vocals, Scott Boyer lead guitar, Nick Wheeler bass
guitar and Doug Piatt drums, combine for one of the most lethally
talented acts to ever perform in the Dayton area. ITHIKA plays
by their own rules when it comes to their music, not following
any standards, yet setting them along the way. ITHIKA is one of
the first local rock acts to blend new emotional rock with great
classic rock such as Van Halen, Billy Idol, Ozzy and others. They
also play a steady rotation of the hottest venues in their area,
some of these clubs include, W.O. Wrights in Beavercreek, Bojangles
in West Carrollton and Stubbies in Vandalia. ITHIKA has also been
a mainstay at some of Dayton's biggest live event's which include,
XFEST 2-007, WTUE's 2005 & 2006 St. Patrocks Day at Flanagan's
and the 2005 & 2006 HauntFest/Boo & Brew In the Oregon
District, playing infront of thousands at those shows. In January
of 2007 ITHIKA aquired not one but two major beer sponsorships
from Miller Light and Corona through Fisher and Bonbright distributing
in Dayton and Springfield. ITHIKA's future goals are to expand
venues of playing throughout Ohio and the Midwest and capture
the attention of many eager fans that have been waiting for the
vibe, sound, and soul, they provide live.
